A mobile app for playing padel
Lunda Padel is a mobile product for players and the club ecosystem. It brings together game discovery, partner matching, tournaments, court booking and payment, ratings, statistics and notifications.
I launched the project as a product manager: shaping the product frame, designing user journeys, defining the first design direction and turning the app’s development into a long-range roadmap. Today my role is more curatorial: I remain a user-facing product contact, collect feedback, set tasks for the team and help keep the product direction coherent.
Scope
- product launch: strategy, MVP logic, user scenarios and first customer journeys;
- UX/UI and the app’s first design direction;
- task setting, roadmap support and translation of feedback into product changes;
- user work: explaining the product, collecting problems, testing hypotheses and finding growth points;
- curating current development and participating in a possible new redesign.
Product challenge
Padel depends on community: players need partners at the right level, clubs need occupancy and controllable processes, organizers need tournament tooling. The app had to become more than a schedule: it needed to act as infrastructure for regular play.
